James Street Plaza was selected as the location after reports of antisocial and criminal behaviour in and around the plaza where turning a public space into a 'no go' area after dark. Jack's interactive projectiojs will illuminate spaces after dark using subjects that reflect aspects of local histroy or contemporary life. The projections will respond to public interactions in a playful way. The research will explore the potential for playful projection to reduce antisocial behaviour.There are three proposed designs. The public have been invited to vote on the design they'd like to see lighting up James Street Plaza.
