Formerly of the University of Waikato, I was appointed Associate Professor in Creative Industries in January 2016.

I am currently serving as the program convenor for the Master of Creative Industries.

From December 2017 I have been serving as co-editor for Media International Australia (with Assoc. Prof. Adrian Athique, Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Queensland), and co-editor of Studies in Documentary Film (with Assoc. Prof. Kate Nash, Leeds University)
